When Tall and Tiny Tales launches on Tuesday 1 February, the first tale that will land in your inbox is Badger Hill.

This is a new thriller in three episodes (delivered on 1, 8 and 15 February). I have not published it before, online or offline. Only four people in the world have read it – and I’m one of them.

The story is a little darker than most of my fiction. A young woman injures her knee at the end of a long day’s hike in the remote Otway Ranges of coastal Victoria. Her boyfriend goes to seek help …
