The Middle of Nowhere. Serial fiction: a young woman suffers a knee injury on the first day of a gruelling hike in isolated bush. A thriller by Australian author Steve Fendt.
I listened to this on the podcast version while I was having lunch today. Let's say I enjoyed it a lot more than reading The Australian newspaper! Well done, Steve.
I enjoyed reading it, Steve 👏👏👏💝💝💝This brought back the memory of the time I dislocated my kneecap. Its a funny story how it happened but the experience was very painful. Spent few hours in ER. Had to walk few weeks with knee immobilizer.
Enjoyed this. Enjoyed the audio, too. Have you thought of getting the audio onto this page, too? I am someone who likes to see the words as I listen. (Not while driving, of course, but... :)
Enjoyed chapter 1 thanks. Keen to receive next chapter

Thank you, Salima! And ... ouch!! You’ve got me wondering about this funny story now 🤔
Your style of writing is very engaging. I want to read more, and I want to read it now!
Thanks, Lea! I'm afraid you'll have to wait until Tuesday to find out how Hannah and Jay get on 😊. In the meantime, you'll find other of my stories here: https://medium.com/@steve-on-corio-bay and here: https://coriobay.blog
