Congratulations on your win with 'Gone South' - it's beautifully written. I read it last year and listened to more recently on the your podcast - the ending gets me every time.
Re: Patreon poll - I'm going with 'maybe' simply because I don't know enough about Patreon. I know it works for some people; in fact I heard recently on another podcast about an author who's raking it in on Patreon - she writes in paranormal romance, steamy romance genres so that may explain why her books are so popular!
I suppose anything's worth a try if you have the time to invest in it.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm trying to find ways to get more readers to clap eyes on my writing without (yet) going down the whole formal publishing route. I doubt I'll be raking anything in, sadly 😊.
When I have time, I'll look into it more carefully and see whether it offers me the sort of flexibility I'm looking for.
