The ending came to me, as so often, only when I sat down to write it. I wanted to write something that had honesty, integrity to the character, not just a standard revenge ballad ending where they all died happily ever after. Then suddenly, there it was.
I don't think I considered that. Or did I? 🤔 I certainly contemplated a lot more mayhem than finally happened. 🤣 Glad you enjoyed the story. I had fun writing it.
I lost the subscriber called something like "bluegrassfan" early on in the piece. I think it wasn't quite what they were expecting 😊
